Teacher and Director

Private Voice

This is a wonderful opportunity to work one-on-one with Ellen to address personal vocal goals. Proper vocal technique (which includes understanding the vocal instrument, enhancing your breath support, addressing vowel formation, and becoming consistent with vocal placement) can be applied to any musical style.

These private sessions will enable vocalists to develop control over how they sing, have a range of choices they can consciously choose from to deliver the style they desire, and maintain a healthy voice in any performing situation.

For Advanced, Intermediate or Beginning Singers:

  • Improve your vocal technique
  • Work the break in your voice
  • Determine the best key for your songs
  • Prepare repertoire for an audition, performance or recording session
  • Expand your phrasing ideas and connect them to your emotional interpretation
  • Develop your musicianship & ear training
  • Address your specific vocal needs and musical questions

“With this program of fourteen delicate melodies, the singer delivers from the heart. She just lets it fly, and what happens is a lovely melodic parade.”
