AGC is a lively and supportive community chorus
for men and women started in 1981
by jazz vocalist and director Ellen Robinson.
The repertoire covers a variety of styles:
jazz, pop, Broadway, R&B and folk tunes.

REHEARSALS/CLASSES East Bay and San Francisco – In Person!
Beginning Chorus Class Meets inSan Francisco and is open to all singers
of any level to enjoy the experience of singing
and learning how to sing with others.
Intermediate/Advanced Choruses
Two separate choruses meet in the East Bay and San Francisco and are open by audition. These choruses strive for artistic excellence, encourage the musical development of each member and provide a joyful and creative musical experience. These choruses also bring choral music to audiences who don’t go out to hear live music by performing free concerts at retirement communities and homeless shelters.
COVID PROTOCOLS for rehearsals and classes:
1. All singers in East Bay AGC must be fully vaccinated, but this is not required in San Francisco AGC.
2. All singers are asked to wear an N95 Singer’s Mask. Resonance “Singer’s Mask.” Order HERE.

Intermedite/Advanced
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Singers need to be able to read music and learn in 3-part harmony, have some previous choral experience and know how to have a good time! Improve your vocal technique, develop your music reading skills and sing in different musical styles: jazz, pop, Broadway, R&B and folk tunes.
Membership by audition.
Special half price for new members. East Bay only.

AGC I: Beginning 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm
Learn basic vocal technique and note reading. Sing unison songs and simple 2 part rounds. more
All voices welcome! No requirements or audition.
